The total number of active COVID-19 cases reached 368 on Thursday, with 82 new recoveries being reported past 24 hours.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 82 which brings the total number of recoveries to 1,759. With this, the total number of active cases are now 368.

The agency also confirmed an additional 17 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives which includes 07 Maldivians, 06 Bangladeshis, 03 Indians, and 01 Nepal.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives are now 2,137.

So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
