The total number of new COVID-19 cases reported in the Maldives on Monday was 30, counting in the total for 24 hours.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) revealed that these include 16 Maldivians, 13 Bangladeshis, and 01 Nepali.

They added that in the past 24 hours, a record high of 229 new recoveries has been reported which brings the total number of recoveries to 1,540. With this the total number of active cases are now 515.

So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
