Maldives on Thursday reported 14 new cases of COVID-19.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) revealed that this included 05 Maldivians, 08 Bangladeshis and one Sri Lankan.

32 new recoveries were also reported for the same period bringing total recoveries to 1,153.

The number of daily new cases have been on a decline since the start of this month, with most days reporting new cases below 20.

So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
