20 new cases of COVID-19 has been reported in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 1,962.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that 20 new cases had been reported in 24 hours. While there are 1,962 total cases, 825 of these cases are active.

New recoveries for the same period were just 111 cases, bringing total to 1,121.

HPA statistics show that as of now there are 398 in quarantine facilities while 932 are in isolation.

So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
