The number of new COVID-19 recoveries in the Maldives stood at 111 on Wednesday.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that 111 new recoveries had been reported in 24 hours bringing the total number of recovered cases in the country to 1,121.
New positive cases for the same period were just 20 cases. While there are 1,962 total cases, 825 of these cases are active.
HPA statistics show that as of now there are 398 in quarantine facilities while 932 are in isolation.
So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
