Maldives on Sunday reported 64 new COVID-19 recoveries, bringing total recoveries to 827 in the country.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that the total recoveries in the country is now 827 with the most recent recoveries.
They further noted that only two cases had been reported as of 6:00pm today. This marks the lowest new cases daily since the first case was found in Male' back in April.
The number of cases in the country has dropped in the past five days with 12 cases reported on Tuesday, nine on Wednesday, 22 people on Thursday, 11 on Friday and 18 on Saturday.
Meanwhile, another 64 people have recovered from COVID-19 raising the total recoveries in the country to 827.
So far, eight people have died due to COVID-19 in the Maldives; four Bangladeshi nationals and four elderly Maldivians.
