With 46 new recoveries of COVID-19 being reported today, there are now a total of 763 recoveries in the Maldives.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that the total recoveries in the country is now 763 with the most recent recoveries.
They also said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 13 locals and three Bangladeshi nationals along with a Sri Lankan national and a Nepalese national had tested positive for the illness.
The number of cases in the country has dropped in the past four days with 12 cases reported on Tuesday, nine on Wednesday, 22 people on Thursday and 11 on Friday.
So far, eight people have died due to COVID-19 in the Maldives; four Bangladeshi nationals and four elderly Maldivians.
