Maldives on Wednesday announced 36 new recoveries bringing total recoveries to 644.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that a total of 644 recoveries have been recorded so far.

HPA also revealed that nine new cases of COVID-19 have been reported past 24 hours, bringing total cases to 1,850.

Yesterday marked a low number of new cases as well with just 12 cases being reported. A total of 120 new recoveries were also reported yesterday.

Maldives so far has recorded seven COVDI-19 deaths. These are four elderly Maldivians and three Bangladeshis.
