Health Protection Agency (HPA) has confirmed that nine new cases of COVID-19 have been reported past 24 hours, bringing total cases to 1,850.

HPA noted that as of 6:00pm nine new cases have been reported. This included seven Maldivians and two Bangladeshis.

Yesterday marked a low number of new cases as well with just 12 cases being reported. A total of 120 new recoveries were also reported yesterday.

With 36 new recoveries today, total recoveries are now 644.

Maldives so far has recorded seven COVDI-19 deaths. These are four elderly Maldivians and three Bangladeshis.
