COVID-19 recoveries in Maldives climbs to 488

The total number of COVID-19 recoveries in the Maldives now stands at 488, with 35 new recoveries announced on Monday.

Speaking at the NEOC press conference, Spokesperson, Mohamed Mabrook Abdul Aziz said that the total number of recoveries in the country are 488 after another 35 people recovered from COVID-19.

He said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 979 results have come in from three laboratories and 56 samples from those have tested positive for the illness. They consist of 24 Maldivians and 29 foreigners.
