The number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives has now risen up to 1,090 after seven new cases were confirmed on Sunday.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that as 09:30pm on Monday night, an additional 07 cases of COVID-19 infection had been found in the country. This includes 05 Maldivians along with 01 Bangladeshi and Indian.

With this the number of total cases reported in the past 24 hours now stand at 12. This includes 05 Maldivians, 05 Bangladeshis, 01 Indian and 01 Sri Lankan.

While Maldives have recorded four COVID-19 deaths, 49 people have recovered from the infection.
