Nine new recoveries have brought the total number of COVID-19 recoveries in the Maldives to 58.
Those who recovered include five Maldivians and 1 Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Indian and Sri Lankan.
Among those who recovered include a patient who tested positive on May 2nd. The patient is a 28 year old Maldivian. A 60 year old Maldivian had recovered today as well.
The total number of new reported cases past 24 hours have climbed to 58 bringing total to 1,078.
While Maldives have recorded four COVID-19 deaths, 49 people have recovered from the infection.
