Seven employees of Maldive Gas has tested positive for COVID-19, bringing total number of positive employees to eight.

Speaking to "One", Marketing and Business Development Manager of Maldive Gas, Aminath Mohamed Saeed revealed that seven employees have tested positive, who were isolated after coming into contact with an employee who tested positive previously.

The employees who tested positive today are also working in delivery services based in Hulhumale according to her. The employees are from Bangladesh and India.

While 08 employees of Maldive gas have tested positive so far, 12 have been isolated.

Aminath also noted that even though a number of their employees have tested positive, their services will resume as normal.
