Spokesperson of the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC), Mohamed Mabrook Abdul Aziz has said that there have been no talks of stopping deliveries and enforce a complete lock down where the general public would not be allowed to go out.

Speaking at the NEOC press conference, Spokesperson Mohamed Mabrook Abdul Aziz said that there is a message circulating in the community that says the lock down measures are going to get more strict to the point where deliveries would be stopped and the people would be confined to their homes. He said that there is no truth to this.

Mabrook said that the lock down is currently at the most effective level for the coming surge and if further changes are to be made, they would be assessed before making a decision.

He said that the government has held no discussion to make the lock down more strict.
