An employee at the call center of the Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) has tested positive for COVID-19.

A tweet sent out by the company today said that they have taken immediate steps to isolate all other staff who may come into close contact and have taken steps internally to avoid any service interruptions, and our teams will be out for waste collection rounds as advised.

“We are also doubling down on our efforts to regularly disinfect all our sites, providing masks and other PPE to front line staff, and working closely with @HPA_MV to facilitate random sampling of our employees. “ WAMCO said.

The company also sent their best to the employee who tested positive and wished a speedy recovery.
