The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives have risen to 734 with 86 new cases being reported today.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) revealed that as of 05:00pm today, an additional 86 cases of COVID-19 infection in Maldives had been confirmed. Among these included 67 Bangladeshis, 03 Indians, 14 Maldivians and a Sri Lankan as well as a Nepali national.
This includes samples from active surveillance of vulnerable homes as well according to HPA.
The COVID-19 death toll in the Maldives is now at 3, with two of them being Maldivians and 1 being a Bangladeshi. 20 from the 734 total cases have recovered so far.
