The total number of cases in the Maldives have reached 648 tonight with the addition of six new cases.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that as of 11:30pm, an additional 6 cases of COVID-19 infection in Maldives have been identified.

These include 02 Bangladeshis, 02 Indians and 02 Maldivians.

With this, 30 cases have now been reported in the past 24 hours. This includes 24 cases that were reported earlier in the day. HPA noted that out of these 20 cases are Bangladeshis along with 3 Maldivians and 1 Indian.

Maldives have recorded two COVID-19 deaths with recoveries standing at 20 as of now.
