Dr. Sheena Moosa has said that the real picture of how much COVID-19 has spread in the community is still unclear.
Speaking at the National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC) press conference tonight, Dr. Sheena said that people confirmed for COVID-19 in the first 14 days were people who came in contact with the illness before the lock down.
Dr. Sheena said that the disease spreads rapidly among people living in the same household.
She said that cases are being observed in two different types of communities with the first group being situations where a lot of people live in the same place which has a higher spreading rate that with a higher rate of exposure to the illness.
