Dr. Afzal Ibrahim has revealed that all patients being treated at Dharumavantha Hospital for COVID-19 are stable as of now.
Speaking at the NEOC press conference, Dr. Afzal said that five people are being treated at the ICU of Dharumavantha Hospital.
He said that two men of the ages 70 and 88 are on the ventilator. Sources say that the 88-year-old man is the husband of the 83-year-old woman who died from COVID-19 in the Maldives.
So far, over 600 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Maldives with 20 recoveries while two people have died; an 83-year-old Maldivian woman and a 33-year-old Bangladeshi national.
