Foreign Minister has revealed that 200 Maldivians stuck in 9 cities of India are to be brought back to the Maldives.

Maldivians currently in Punjab, Calcutta, Gurugram, Delhi, Rishikesh, Vellore, Chennai, Trivandrum and Cochin will be brought back in a chartered flight of Maldivian. The flight will travel from Male' to Delhi and make a stop at Trivandrum before returning back to Male'.

Foreign Ministry revealed that those who are traveling from the flight will have to purchase their tickets, which will be on sale by Maldivian. The Maldivian High Commission in Delhi and Consulate General in Trivandrum will assist Maldivians in traveling to the two cities from which the flight will depart.

As per the Foreign Ministry, those who were stuck in India after having traveled there for medical purposes will also be brought back in the flight.

All those who come back on the flight will go through the 14 day mandatory quarantine.
