National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC) Spokesperson has stated that they are not aware of the escape of a foreigner placed at a quarantine facility.

Responding to a question from One Online at the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) press conference, Mabrook said that he has seen a video of a person leaving an accommodation in Male’ City however, he is not aware that a person has escaped from a quarantine facility.

Mabrook said that there is no chance that anyone could escape from a quarantine facility. He said that security of these places is kept by the Maldives Police Service and the MNDF and these are remote locations away from communities.

And so, there is no chance of doing something like that.
