With the addition of 14 new cases of COVID-19, the total number of cases in the Maldives have now risen to 541.

The latest developments were shared by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

In his address to the nation today, President Solih noted that so far 185 Maldivians have been tested positive along with 356 Bangladeshis.

18 out of the 541 cases have recovered so far, while an 83 year old woman who tested positive has died.
