A new COVID-19 recovery in the Maldives have brought the total number of recoveries in the Maldives to 18.
Speaking at the NEOC press conference, Spokesperson, Mohamed Mabrook Abdul Aziz said that that recovered patient is that of Case no. 80 and while the tests of the last two samples have tested negative, they have not yet been released.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) dashboard that updates the COVID situation in the country show that Case no. 80 is a 35-year-old Maldivian woman who tested positive on 20 April 2020.
While 519 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Maldives, 18 people have recovered while an 83-year-old woman has passed away.
