The warehouse of STO Supermarket and Trade Center is being disinfected after one of their employees test positive for COVID-19.
Speaking at the NEOC press conference, Spokesperson Mohamed Mabrook Abdul Aziz said that disinfection will begin tonight.
He said that an employee of the STO who lives at the company’s labor quarters is among those who have tested positive and so the STO Supermart, STO Trade Center and the STO labor quarters on Ameenee Magu are under monitoring.
While 519 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Maldives, 18 people have recovered while an 83-year-old woman has passed away.
