National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC) Spokesperson Mabrook Azeez has admitted that there was a delay in getting test results of the deceased patient.
Speaking at the NEOC press conference, Mabrook made the statement in response to a question from the journalists. He said that the person who died was noted as a primary contact on 25 April and the sample was collected on 27 April. And it must be investigated why the samples were not collected for testing for two days.
Mabrook admitted that there were delays however it can be confirmed when the current investigation into the matter by the Health Ministry is completed. And the results of the investigation will be given to the public as soon as its completed.
He said that if there was any negligent of anyone involved, ti would be brought to light and will be working as transparent as possible.
