Maldives on Thursday reported 95 new cases of COVID-19 marking the highest single day increase for the country.
With this, the total number of infections in the country has now reached 396.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that by 4:30pm today, 95 new cases had been reported. Of these 95 cases, 61 are Bangladeshis, 32 Indians and 02 Nepalese.
They also added that these samples were taken from individuals in isolation at a vulnerable house placed under police surveillance.
With this the total number of cases in the Maldives are now 396. Today marked the highest single day increase of new cases.
