Maldives has reported an additional 13 new cases of COVID-19 today, bringing national total of confirmed cases to a staggering 269.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed the new cases and revealed that the total number of cases are now 269.
All 13 new cases are Maldivian men. With this, the number of Maldivians who are positive have once again surpassed the number of positive Bangladeshis. During the time of press, 117 Maldivians are positive in comparison to 115 Bangladeshis.
Total new cases reported today are 19, counting six cases that were reported earlier. Those included five Maldivians and one Pakistani.
With this the total number of cases are now 269 with 17 recoveries. Three of the positive cases are also being treated at IGMH DH11.
These are two Maldivians and a Pakistani.
