With the inclusion of the latest three cases of COVID-19, the total number of cases in the Maldives have now increased to 191.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that among these three cases two were Maldivians along with a Pakistani.

All three are now being transferred to an isolation facility.

In addition to these, 11 more cases have been reported today, This includes nine Bangladeshis along with a Maldivian and an Indian.

With the inclusion of 36 cases that were announced late last night, Maldives records the highest single day increase of new cases with 50 cases being reported on Sunday. Out of the 191 people, 84 are Bangladeshis and 78 are Maldivians.

So far 17 cases have recovered successfully.
