Four Maldivians have been arrested for stealing a boat in the lagoon of Raa Atoll Ungoofaaru and taking it to Maakurathu.

Maldives Police Service said that the vessel was taken to Maakurathu last night around 12:15 a.m. and all four people were arrested around 12:50 a.m. last night.

As the investigation continues, police has said that the four men arrested in connection to the theft are two 18-year-olds, one 28-year-old and a 29-year-old.
