Another Maldivian has tested positive to COVID-19 in Male' City, bringing the total number of cases in the city to 15.

Speaking during a press conference at the National Emergency Operation Center, COVID-19 Spokesperson Mabrouq Azeez revealed that a 28 year old has been tested positive.

Mabrouq also noted that so far there has been no connections with Case 35 and the existing clusters.

The patient is now being transferred to an isolation facility.

While the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Maldivian capital has gone up to 15, the total number of people who tested positive in the Maldives is now 35 and 16 of them have recovered. And two people were confirmed positive after they left the country and there are 16 locals and one foreigner currently in treatment.
