The total number of Covid-19 cases in Male' City has climbed to 14.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that two new samples have returned positive. The samples taken from a Maldivian national who was a Direct Contact of Case 28 has tested positive for Covid-19 in addition to samples taken from a Maldivian national who was a Direct Contact of Case 27.

Both of them are currently being transferred to an Isolation Facility.

While the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Maldivian capital has gone up to 14, the total number of people who tested positive in the Maldives is now 34 and 16 of them have recovered. And two people were confirmed positive after they left the country and there are 15 locals and one foreigner currently in treatment.
