National airline, Maldivian has announced that they have suspended all domestic flights amid the lockdown in Greater Male' Region.

A tweet by the airline confirmed that they had stopped all flights with immediate effect until further advise by the Health Protection Agency (HPA).

HPA had announced a 24 hour lockdown in the Male' region starting at 2:30pm today after a Maldivian tested positive to Covid-19 in the Male' City.

While Maldivian has suspended all flights, none of the vessels docked at the capital are permitted to depart either.
