Health Protection Agency (HPA) has said that Kaafu Atoll Kaashidhoo has been put under a state of monitoring after confirming a direct contact with a Maldivian national who tested positive for COVID-19.

The HPA made the announcement on Twitter moments ago.

Under the HPA monitoring state implemented on the island, all unauthorized entry and exit from the island is now prohibited.
