One of the Maldivians who tested positive for Covid-19 has recovered.

Speaking during a press conference held on Sunday night, Dr Moosa Murad revealed that the most recent samples of the first Maldivian who tested positive have come back as negative twice.

Dr Murad further noted that there were more work to be done and that the current measures taken to combat the virus cannot be lifted due to the current situation. He also added that everyone needed to be aware of all these things.

There are now 20 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the Maldives. Two of these tested positive after departing the country. While five Maldivians have tested positive, 14 of all positive cases have recovered so far.
