MMA and banks to be opened for three days next week as well

Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has said that the banks in the country will be opened for three days in the next week as well.

An announcement made by MMA said that since the government closure is being sustained to the next week as well, MMA and the banks will be operating three days of the weeks as well; Monday 13 April, Tuesday 14 April and Thursday 16 April.

On these three days, the banks will be opened from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. according to the MMA.

MMA said that they would be issuing and accepting coins from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the sending and receiving of letters to the institutes that does not use GEMS will take place via the MMA email address [email protected].
