Fourty nine people who were at the Fun Island Quarantine Facility have tested negative to Covid-19.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) revealed on Twitter that samples collected from 49 individuals quarantined in Fun Island Quarantine Facility have all tested Negative. As per protocol, they have been released home today upon completion of their mandatory 14-day quarantine period.

State also revealed that 11 people are in isolation and 881 are in quarantine due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

So far 19 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the Maldives. These include four Maldivians as well as two tourists who tested positive after departing the country.
