Covid-10 Spokesperson has revealed that samples from 45 Maldivians who returned from the UK have been taken to be tested for Covid-19.

Speaking during a press conference, Mabrouq noted that samples from 45 Maldivians who returned from the UK between March 14th and March 18th has been collected so far.

Mabrouq also noted that while works of sample collection are ongoing, misinformation has been spread widely with photographs from the process. He stressed that all photos and stories were monitored, all of which are false according to the National Emergency Center.

While four Maldivians have tested positive for Covid-19, all four of them had recently returned from the UK.
