Male’ City Council has ordered the removal of the four-wheel vehicles at the Carnival area.

The announcement made by the City Council said that they are giving a week to remove the vehicles must be removed by 6 p.m. next Wednesday to build a 52-slot parking area.

Male’ City Council said that the newly developed parking space would have a payment system of MVR 3,000 per month per slot.

Due to overcrowding of vehicles in the Maldivian capital, parking space have become scarce and the City Council have begun developing various types of parking space in different areas of the city.
