Maldives have reported that all Covid-19 patients in the country has recovered with the exception of two Maldivians who recently tested positive.
The two Maldivians tested positive after having returned from the United Kingdom.
Speaking during a press conference, IGMH doctor Moosa Muraadh noted that all foreign patients of Covid-19 in the Maldives have recovered which means that there are only two more positive patients, who are both Maldivians.
Dr Muraadh further highlighted that the two Maldivians being treated at the Velidhoo Facility are in stable condition and that their health is improving. He also noted that transfer arrangements for the recovered patients are currently in progress.
All 13 foreign nationals who tested positive have since been cured, while another 2 Italians are receiving treatment outside the Maldives as they tested positive after departing the country following their mandatory quarantine period.
