Covid-19 Spokesperson Mabrouq Azeez has revealed that the Maldivian who tested positive to Covid-19 is table and that the patient has now been transferred to the Velidhoo Isolation Facility.

Speaking during a press conference on Saturday, Mabrouq added that like all other patients receiving treatment for Covid-19, the Maldivian patient is also in a stable condition.

The Maldivian patient is a 38 year old who had returned from the UK on March 22nd. The patient tested positive after a test was carried out as the patient showed symptoms during quarantine.

Health Minister Abdulla Ameen also previously revealed that a contact tracing is currently in progress.
