Maldives have reported two more Covid-19 recoveries on Saturday.

Speaking during a press conference on Saturday, Dr Muaz Moosa revealed that 11 of the 14 patients receiving treatment for Covid-19 in the Maldives have recovered.

Covid-19 Spokesperson added that even though 16 cases of Covid-19 has been found, 14 of them are currently in the Maldives. While 11 of them have recovered so far, three are still receiving treatment.

The distribution of positive cases in the Maldives are; 5 cases from Kuredu Island Resort, 2 cases from Sandies Bathala Island Resort, 2 cases from Kuramathi Maldives, 2 cases from a Safari, 2 cases from Anantara Dhigu Maldives, A Maldivian who returned to Maldives from the UK as well as two Italians who departed the Maldives.

All 11 recovered patients will be discharged after a 30 day quarantine period as per regulations.

Mabrouq noted that the two Italians tested positive for Covid-19 after departing the country having succesfully completed their quarantine period.
