FlyMe has decided to halt all of their operations amidst the worsening Coronavirus pandemic.

A statement released by the company, signed by Managing Director of Villa Air Abdulla Nashid noted that all of their domestic operations will be halted indefinitely starting March 29th.

Explaining the decision, the company noted that due to the changes brought to civil aviation rules and the closing down of the Maldivian border amid the Covid-19 pandemic, heavy losses are being suffered by the airline.

The statement further added that the crew of the airline is in line and ready to help out the public if need be.
