Covid-19 Spokesperson Mabrouq Azeez has revealed that three Italians along with a patient from Turkey and South Africa has recovered from Covid-19 in the Maldives.

Mabrouq revealed this during a press conference held tonight.

From the 13 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the Maldives, five have recovered so far. These include three Italian nationals, one Turkish and one South African national.

Nine out of the 13 positive patients are Italian patients. At present, there are six Italians being treated for Covid-19 in the Maldives. Another British national and German national is also being treated for Covid-19.

One of them are being treated at the ICU in Dharumavantha Hospital.
