The Medical Team from Tourism Trust Fund has arrived in the Maldives.

During a press conference held on Wednesday night, Covid-19 Spokesperson Mabrouq Azeez confirmed the arrival of the team. He further added that this team will work in coordination with HPA.

During the press, Mabrouq also announced that the government will be using Fun Island Resort as a quarantine facility.

So far there are 13 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the Maldives.

The team will be active for one month.
