Canadian PM’s wife tests positive for COVID-19

Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, the wife of Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, has tested positive for COVID-19 Corona Virus.

A statement from the prime minister's office said that she tested positive upon returning from an event at the UK.

"She will remain in isolation for the time being. She is feeling well, is taking all the recommended precautions and her symptoms remain mild.” the statement said. And Prime Minister Trudeau will remain in isolation for 14 days.

The statement also said that Prime Minister Trudeau will not be tested for the disease unless he shows symptoms.

There are currently approximately 147 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 in Canada with one fatality so far.
