The three resorts under lock down due to COVID-19 Corona Virus have been reopened.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) issued a statement saying that although the lock down have been lifted at the three resorts, Kuredu Island Resort, Sandies Bathala Island and Kuramathi Maldives, all three are being closely monitored.
HPA said that the people on the islands with a high chance of the disease are already placed at an allocated area at all three resorts.
The management of the resorts are going to ensure that they follow the regulations and procedures established for quarantines. And before people leave the islands, they are going to go through an exit screening according to the HPA.
A health worker is also appointed to the island to establish the measures to prevent further spreading of the disease.
