National Museum, Utheemu Ganduvaru closed due to COVID-19

The National Museum in Male’ City along with the Utheemu Ganduvaru in Haa Alifu Atoll Utheemu and the Gaafu Atoll Regional Museum have all been closed due to COVID-19.

National Center for Cultural Heritage issued a statement yesterday said that all three places have been closed down starting from yesterday as a preventive measure from the COVID-19 Corona Virus.

In the statement, they also apologized to the public for any inconvenience this may cause.

So far six people have been tested positive for COVID-19 in the Maldives.
