State spokesperson for Covid-19, Mabrook Azeez has confirmed that an employee of Universal who came into contact with the Italian tourist from Kuredu who tested positive to Covid-19 is being placed under isolation.

Mabrook noted that the ticketing agent from Universal from whom the tourist purchased his tickets has been showing symptoms due to which works are underway to isolate the employee. Mabrook confirmed that the employee is a Maldivian.
