Spokesperson of the President’s Office, Ibrahim Hoodh has said that conducting 540 projects in the first year of the current presidency is a record and a sample of the government’s speed.

The statistics released by the President’s Office on Saturday show that 49 projects have been completed under PSIP and 485 projects are ongoing in various stages.

Statistics show 152 projects are on the development phase with 73 projects on the EIA phase and 62 pending after being awarded to contractors.

And 49 projects are on the survey phase with 44 projects at the design consultancy phase.

Saturday’s statistics also show 43 projects up for tender, 32 projects on the planning phase, 20 projects with the design phase complete and tendered. Two other projects are at party tender phase with two other projects at the finishing phase and one project in retention.
