Ooredoo Maldives has launched their new Digital Service Center operating on a 24-hour basis, marking the first such center by the telecommunications company.

The center includes 24-hour self service kiosks offering prepaid services such as SIM registration and issuing as well as recharging services for prepaid plans and bill payment for postpaid plans.

The digital center was officially inaugurated on Sunday by Chairman of Ooredoo Maldives Mr. Damian Philip Chappell and the CEO and Managing Director Mr. Najib Khan.

The digital center opening event was also attended by the company’s board of directors which included Dr. A Hamid Mohd A. Marafi, Uza. Dheen Hussain, Mr. Khalid Hassan M. A. Al-Hamadi, Mr. Ahmed Zuhoor and Mr. Suresh Kalpathi Chidambaram.

Speaking about the new digital center, Mr. Najib Khan was quoted stating “as the world grows increasingly digital, our customers are expecting faster and easier services.”

“Ooredoo Digital Center greatly simplifies customer experience, and provides a convenient and tech driven solution for their needs. Ooredoo customers can now get a SIM at any time of the day and instantly gain access to the multitude of innovative services which we provide,” Khan said, adding “powered by the best nationwide 4G+ network in the Maldives.”

The digital center is situated in front of the King Salman Mosque on Boduthakurufaanu Magu, while the venue provides 24-hour access to;
